JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering prompt courteous and quality bar services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Knowledge of proper beverage liquor and wine service
Prepare cocktails in accordance with standard beverage recipes and/or Old Mr. Boston Guide using the standard jigger at all times
TIPS or TAM training required
Check all identification
Knowledge of proper procedures for guest handling including: in-house guest lists credit card procedures house charges and cash transactions
Responsible for daily/monthly inventories
Pick up bar bank and guest checks from prescribed area
Maintain a neat and orderly restaurant: wash dry and put away all dishes sweep and mop floors vacuum rugs clean countertops empty trash clean cupboards and drawers
Red-line all drink orders checking for correct prices. No drinks to be made without pre-rung guest check

Minimum of 18 years of age
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Satisfactory criminal background screening required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate listen stand for long periods of time ability to walk kneel stoop bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including nights and weekends.
