Summary of Job Duties:
  • Manages the administrative functions of the agency to include overall responsibility for all of the following functional areas: financial management purchasing/procurement human resources and information technology/systems administration.
  • Supervises the preparation of payroll documents personnel records management has fiscal authority to make purchasing decisions in areas of responsibility
  • Assists the Director in the administration of the agency; provides technical information and advice to aid in decision making; handles information of a sensitive or confidential nature; performs specialized support functions with a high degree of independence including completing special reports or analyses as requested by management staff troubleshooting or researching special cases representing the unit in meetings related to program support.
  • Makes recommendations and assists in developing new procedures and programs.
  • Serves as liaison between managing director and PBSL staff; transmits decisions and directions; performs complex administrative duties related to the coordination of construction contracts and prevailing wage; works on special assignments and projects; researches and analyzes material information and programs; prepares reports publications memos and presentations for PBSL staff; assumes responsibility for assigned administrative functions in the Directors absence (i.e. those duties that have been specifically delegated to be performed in his/her absence).
  • Maintains contact with users to monitor performance of computer systems (i.e. Performance Paycor Archibus FM Works FM Works Mobile Outlook and Hamilton County Auction website); provides technical guidance and training to users; inputs manages assigns and closes work orders work requests and preventative maintenance requests; attends training conferences and meetings.
  • Ensures smooth and efficient operation of office; coordinates and monitors work flow; ensures work is completed in proper and timely manner; participates in the coordination and implementation of department activities procedures and programs; responds to complaints and inquiries from departmental personnel.
  • Reviews financial documents to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations; assists in the reconciliation of financial reports for County and State agencies; assists in preparation of budget requests and financial transaction processing; monitors budgets; assists with budget request and projections; controls fiscal accounts to ensure budgetary compliance; ensures departmental staff adherence to fiscal policies and procedures; coordinates contract and grant application/preparation; researches compiles and analyzes data; audits internal records and documents; maintains inventories; maintains accurate files; provides technical information; prepares various reports from operational financial statistical and personnel documents.
  • Manages the surplus property auction program and the functions of the program for GABP PBS and County garages.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in business administration public administration or related field.
  • four (4) to five (5) years related experience.
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience which evidences a thorough knowledge of management practices and procedures an advanced knowledge of government structure and process and demonstrable ability to operate a computer
Work Location and Hours:
  • 3 Paycor Stadium Cincinnati Oh. 45202
  • 40 Hour Work Week generally between core hours of 7:30-5:30
