Become a part of our growing collegial and fast-paced Interventional Radiology team committed to customer service and high-quality care to our region. Work collaboratively on a team-based model that includes a great mix of 3 Physicians 1 Registered Radiology Assistant 10 Radiology Technicians and 8 Registered Nurses. Based at the Essentia Health Hospital at 32nd Ave. This position will allow you to join a growing department with great potential for rewarding patient care.

• Full time position; Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm
• Minor procedures
• Ideal candidate will have Vascular Surgery/Interventional Radiology/Minor Procedure Background
• Inpatient Rounding on IR Consults with the possibility for future clinic
• Will work closely and communicate clearly with the IR scheduler and with the IR Leadership and Physician Teams
• No call

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes advanced health assessment knowledge and decision-making skills while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients co-workers and others.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing or Bachelors or Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Preferred background/experience in Vascular Surgery/Interventional Radiology.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Current licensure as a registered nurse in ND and MN (if NP).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in ND and MN.
• Ability to obtain ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• National certification in applicable area.
• Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
