Architect - Telford
Aztrum is delighted to be exclusively working witha well-established architectural practice based in Telford who are seeking a talented and proactive Design Architect to join their growing team. With a reputation for delivering innovative high-quality solutions across a broad portfolio of projects across the Commercial sector the practice is looking for an architect who thrives on creative problem-solving and strategic design thinking.
Key Responsibilities for this Design Architect role:
- Translate client briefs into creative and practical design concepts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects to tight deadlines
- Undertake site visits and develop designs that respond to context
- Prepare masterplans and feasibility studies to support client decision-making
- Produce planning submissions Design & Access Statements and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with in-house teams to produce high-quality visualisations
- Attend stakeholder and client meetings to shape project direction
- Develop tender-stage and detailed design drawings primarily in AutoCAD.
Requirements for this Design Architect role:
- Qualified Architect with experience leading projects ideally in commercial industrial or mixed-use sectors
- Strong AutoCAD skillswith proven project delivery experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence in client-facing roles
- Strong design awareness with attention to technical accuracy and detail
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team efforts
- Receptive to feedback and committed to professional growth
- Clear written communication supported by well-presented drawings
