We work with clients like Sue to achieve the goals that are important to them. This may be walking Daisy to the park staying well or adjusting to a new routine. The Joint Community Rehabilitation service is at the heart of care in the community. Our teams assist older adults after an illness or injury get back to independence in their own home. Working alongside other professionals you may initially be providing some personal care helping with therapy exercises and giving emotional support to help clients regain the skills and confidence they need to manage these everyday tasks themselves.
As a JCR Support Worker you will be supporting an everchanging group of people across the local community to regain independence.
We are looking for candidates who:
There are permanent contracts available ranging from 6 to 30 hours per week. We also offer 24 - 30 hour Apprenticeships 6 24 hour weekend only contracts and 6 - 24 hour contracts for evening only work.
Please note we cannot offer sponsorship for these positions.
The role involves working shifts between the hours of 7am and 10pm including weekends and Bank Holidays.
