Job Description
A weld line helper will assist on the production assembly line and work with hand tools and automated machinery. A helper must be able to stand for long periods of time and keep flow of the product moving while producing a good quality part.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Basic computer skills required
Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Motivated self-starter that can work with minimal supervision
Must be able to read and understand measuring devices used on diameter verifications.
Must be able to perform moderate lifting up to 50lbs
Must be willing and able to stand for up to 12 hrs
Duties:
Responsible for the proper setup and use of the grinder/sander equipment according to written specifications.
Operate grinder/sander equipment while maintaining a steady flow of production throughout the production line.
Perform snap gage measurement of parts processed.
Perform all tasks and duties in harmony with other employees to create and maintain a safe working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Person or Supervisor/Manager
