Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Translator to join our team at Bayan Tech. The role involves producing accurate high-quality translations reviewing work for consistency and collaborating with project managers to ensure timely delivery. The Senior Translator also supports quality control responds to client feedback and contributes to maintaining our reputation for excellence across multiple fields of translation.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and review content to ensure accuracy tone and cultural appropriateness.
- Research and apply industry-specific terminology.
- Utilize CAT tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure quality control and on-time delivery.
- Respond promptly to client feedback and make necessary adjustments.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Arts Alsun or Languages and Translation (English preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional translation experience.
- Proficiency with CAT tools (e.g. MemoQ SDL Trados Smartling Phrase).
- Ability to work across at least 4 specialized fields such as:
- Marketing Translation / Transcreation
- Software Localization
- Life Science Translation
- Technical Translation
- E-learning Translation
- Legal Translation
- Financial Translation
- Strong research time management and communication skills.
