Job Opportunity: Surety & Commercial Account Manager
Our client a leading insurance provider that offers an extensive range of commercial group benefits individual benefits and personal lines of insurance is seeking an experienced Surety & Commercial Account Manager. This role involves managing client relationships and navigating insurance policies providing an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a supportive and rewarding environment. The company offers a competitive pay range that is dependent on experience alongside benefits including employer-paid medical vision dental 401K PTO and paid disability and life insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with multiple insurance companies/MGAs to negotiate and obtain quotes binders endorsements etc.
- Maintain relationships with clients setting pre-renewal meetings preparing information for policy review creating estimates and quotes for clients/prospects negotiating with carriers remarketing accounts processing policy changes certificates endorsements and binding policies.
- Manage the daily servicing of the clients answering questions etc.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling products to clients and prospects when its in their best interest.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of recent commercial lines account management experience.
- Commercial property OR Contractor account experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Applied Epic is preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage complex renewals while working under tight schedules and deadlines.
- Must be able to come into the office as needed for meetings and trainings.
- Core office hours are 8:30am to 5pm.
