USALCO is a leading provider of aluminum-based component products used in water treatment pulp and paper manufacturing the making of catalysts for oil refining the housing market and other sectors. Responsible for the housekeeping of the plant in a safe and environmentally sound manner documenting job completion and documenting history of work in the computer system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the following however other duties or special projects may be assigned by management:
- Follow USALCO HS&E policies while executing job duties.
- Keep up the maintenance of the facility grounds (includes painting lawn maintenance quarterly inspection of monitoring wells etc.)
- Keeping manager informed for equipment needed.
- Assist maintenance in 5S duties as well as inspections and installation activities as needed.
- Assist operators in offloading drum and tote trucks.
- Assist PPAC operators in cleaning of tanks 26/27 when needed.
- May be required to work overtime variable shifts and 24-hour shifts with 7 days a week on-call as needed.
- Responsible for ensuring jobs are completed in an environmentally sound manner and work area is free from debris after job is complete.
- Support positive employee relations and communications.
- Support overall plant objectives by accepting assignments and working with plant peers.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Technical/Vocational high school diploma/equivalent in industrial equipment operation and repair or in a related discipline.
- Good communication skills with minimal knowledge of maintenance systems.

All USALCO personnel are required to participate in all Corporate Safety Training Programs and any site-specific safety training and policies.
