Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable server-side applications to support our products and services. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers product managers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect design and implement robust scalable and secure backend systems.
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration with front-end and third-party applications.
Optimize application performance reliability and scalability.
Write clean maintainable and testable code following best practices.
Collaborate in code reviews troubleshooting and debugging.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for code APIs and development processes.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Ensure adherence to security and data protection standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in backend software development.
Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g. Python Java Go Ruby).
Strong experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB or Redis.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
