The University of Minnesota is excited to offer a funded one-year Lung Transplant Fellowship (July to June) combining both clinical practice and research. This position will have a dual appointment with University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) for clinical duties. The University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians are affiliated however are separate entities.
Highlights of the program:
Comprehensive clinical exposure through inpatient rotations on solid organ transplant (SOT)
Individualized program structure tailored to align with the trainees interests and background
Elective rotations with other transplant service lines (immunology pathology transplant infectious disease)
Option to participate in the Cystic Fibrosis clinic/ Interstitial Lung Disease for interested fellows.
Opportunities for translational and clinical research as well as quality improvement projects.
Supportive training environment with mentorship from the program director and faculty.
Competitive salary

Qualifications: (Must be documented on all application materials)
Participation with intention of completion in an ACGME-accredited general pulmonary and critical care fellowship
Board eligible or certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care
Possession of or ability to obtain a MN medical license
