Position Summary:
Performs drug alcohol and functional tests for donors.
Compensation & Work Schedule:
Office Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30 am to 5:30 pm CT Schedule will vary within hours of operation.
On-call weekend rotation approximately one time per month.
Base Hourly Rate: $15 - $17
Hiring/Retention Bonus: $1000 paid out in 3 stages through your first (90) Days of Employment
Pay Increase Opportunity: Your performance and/ or role proficiency will be evaluated at your 6-month mark with an opportunity for an hourly increase of $.75 per hour.
Essential functions:
Performs drug screen. May perform collections following DOT specimen collections guidelines which includes direct observation and possible oral swab sample collection. May perform breath alcohol testing following DOT alcohol testing guidelines. May perform hair collections following Psychemedics guidelines.
May perform pulmonary function testing using systems/instruments following OSHA Guidelines Audio metric hearing vision examinations blood pressure checks respiratory fit testing following OSHA Guidelines for quantitative fit testing or lab work requiring blood draws.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Key Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Valid Drivers License.
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite.
Obtain DOT Urine Specimen Collector certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
Obtain DOT EBT (Evidential Breath Testing) certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
Obtain DOT Hair Collection certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
Computer skills including a basic skill level in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
Speak read and write fluently in English. Sight and hearing. Walk sit stand use hands handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Lift up to forty (40) pounds frequently. Climb stairs and jump or climb from a dock to a boat frequently.
