You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailDo you have a passion for cutting-edge technology and precision data collection At the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) were looking for a motivated professional to join our Survey Support Section as a remote sensing this statewide role youll use state-of-the-art terrestrial and aerial survey hardware and software (including Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) scanners Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and thermal sensors) to support projects that improve Michigans roads bridges and environment. This position offers the chance to apply your expertise to a wide range of projects while gaining professional growth opportunities as you research test and advance new survey methods that shape the future of transportation.
In the MDOT Bureau of Development (BOD) you will be part of a team that supports the backbone of Michigans transportation projects. You will directly impact how efficiently projects are delivered across the state. You will also have the opportunity to grow your skills in training technology and performance analysis all while making a difference in the way we connect people communities and the economy through transportation.

Education
Possession of a bachelors degree with a major in surveying.
Experience
Three years of professional experience conducting land surveys equivalent to a LandSurveyor including one year equivalent to a Land Surveyor P11.
