Heres how anEstimating Intern for our Hawaii District office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Reviews and performs quantity survey assignment with lead or head estimator.
- Performs general sub-trade solicitation duties.
- Assists with bid document control.
- Performs bid-day assignments as per lead estimator.
- Supports updating and maintenance of subtrade database information.
- Use of in-house estimating software (BEST Estimating).
- Visits job sites periodically.
- Develops relationships with all stakeholders.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Seeking a bachelors degree or associates degree in engineering construction management architecture or related field.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry after graduation.
- Ability to learn understand and/or apply basic construction principles to problem solve.
- Clear verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and subcontractors.

The pay range for this position is between $28 and $33 dependent on experience and qualifications.
