SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF

As aCommunityDirector your responsibilitieswill include:

  • Take responsibility for the health and viability ofyourregions itsprogrammingand relationships.
  • Deploy staff strategically to sustain activities across geographies.
  • Lead the team to achieve goals around membershipexperiences and participation.
  • Hiretrainand supervise full-time BBYO teammates in their area.
  • Develop direct reports with an expectation of high performance and promotion.
  • Ensure chapter and regional program is of the highest caliber.
  • Serve as the final arbiter on compliance disciplineissuesand parent concerns.
  • Seek out and develop relationships with parentsalumniand community partners to mobilize more people to grow BBYO and drive metrics.
  • Build a strong culture aligned with BBYOs Culture Credo
  • Participate in organizational projects teams and summer programs as assigned to expand the movement and strengthen teen leadership.

  • Proven ability to foster a positive healthy and collaborative team culture while driving measurable growth.
  • Familiaritywithbudget management and financial oversight.
  • Experience: 7yearsofworkexperience.
  • Education: BachelorsDegreeorhigher.
  • Managementexperiencepreferred.
  • Mustresidein theSouthern Californiametro area.
  • Ability to travel as needed throughout the community and regions attend BBYOs International Convention each February and to staff a summer leadership program at a location in the US for 2-3 weeks each summer.
