SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF

As aCommunityDirector your responsibilitieswill include:

Take responsibility for the health and viability ofyourregions itsprogrammingand relationships.
Deploy staff strategically to sustain activities across geographies.
Lead the team to achieve goals around membershipexperiences and participation.
Hiretrainand supervise full-time BBYO teammates in their area.
Develop direct reports with an expectation of high performance and promotion.
Ensure chapter and regional program is of the highest caliber.
Serve as the final arbiter on compliance disciplineissuesand parent concerns.
Seek out and develop relationships with parentsalumniand community partners to mobilize more people to grow BBYO and drive metrics.
Build a strong culture aligned with BBYOs Culture Credo
Participate in organizational projects teams and summer programs as assigned to expand the movement and strengthen teen leadership.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT

Proven ability to foster a positive healthy and collaborative team culture while driving measurable growth.
Familiaritywithbudget management and financial oversight.
Experience: 7yearsofworkexperience.
Education: BachelorsDegreeorhigher.
Managementexperiencepreferred.
Mustresidein theSouthern Californiametro area.
Ability to travel as needed throughout the community and regions attend BBYOs International Convention each February and to staff a summer leadership program at a location in the US for 2-3 weeks each summer.
Ability to work non-traditional hours (some nights and weekends)
