The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as a Talent Acquisition Partner. The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the Human Capital and Development Division.

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) manages the full life-cycle recruitment process to include collaborating with hiring managers to understand departmental needs developing and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies and identifying and qualifying candidates for employment. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for providing timely status updates for their open recruitments as well as ensuring the accuracy of those updates. This individual is responsible for identifying and cultivating key relationships with DMAS applicants hiring managers and other internal stakeholders. The Talent Acquisition Partner serves in a consultative collaborative role counseling hiring managers to ensure consistent application of DHRM and DMAS policies. Coordinate with the Classification and Compensation Team regarding EWP PD and hiring range data for recruitment efforts. Coordinate with Benefits and Transaction Team regarding collection of completed pre-hire documentation to ensure accuracy and all required data is submitted by established deadlines for impending NEO onboarding dates. Confirms that position data is accurate prior to creating Position Descriptions in PageUp updates PageUp statuses throughout the recruitment and selection process review and approve selection panels and interview questions use internal systems/programs to initiate pre-hire documentation distribution to selected candidates and update vacancy tracker with status data daily.
This role is responsible for establishing DMAS as an employer of choice as well as generating a world-class experience for DMAS applicants and hiring managers. The TAP will play a consultative collaborative role in these relationships while ensuring outcomes of all talent acquisition processes are met. Through the use of key metrics the TAP will track their effectiveness in a number of important areas as well as their performance against key milestones. The position will also play a role in identifying recommending and establishing tech enhancements to better the talent acquisition process. Lastly the Talent Acquisition Partner will stay up to date on current talent acquisition trends.
The business needs for this position have in office requirements to include but are not limited to attending the in-person training/ and or meetings conducting outreach events and providing office coverage as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:
Work related experience utilizing policies and procedures to support Human Resource (HR) operations in functional areas such as Talent Acquisition Benefits Workforce Development HR Information Systems or Employee Relations.
Proven work-related experience using automated HR systems such as the Human Resource Management (HuRMan) system the Personnel Management Information System (PMIS) Cardinal Human Capital Management (HCM) system PageUp RMS People Admin RMS or equivalent HCM system.
Work related experience interpreting and applying the principles practices and policies of Human Resource Management to include applicable State and Federal laws.
Knowledge and/or experience implementing new program initiatives while managing multiple operational priorities.
Demonstrated work related experience using Microsoft Software Systems such as Word PowerPoint Excel Calendar or SharePoint.
Knowledge of the Employment Eligibility. Verification requirements (Form I-9) and other legal compliance requirements that support Human Resource functional areas.
Work related experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.
Experience partnering and building effective working relationships with internal or external stakeholders; communicating orally/written with explaining laws regulations and procedures effectively.
