Base Hourly: $19.63-$22.72
ROA Bonus Eligible: Up to 33% of annual eligible earnings
Profit Sharing: Previous 5-year average 20.17% of annual eligible earnings
Perform administrative support at a basic operational level regarding essential functions necessary for Sales and Estimating teams.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Assist with answering phones and general office administration.
Assist sales/estimating staff in preparation of sales bids and project quotations contract document flow and opportunity tracking.
Assist with sales follow-up and reporting.
Adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrications safety programs and standards.
Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrications vision and values.
Develop exceptional working relationships with customers (internal & external) and vendors.
Prepare and record necessary paperwork.
Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Clerical - Knowledge of clerical procedures and systems such as word processing managing files and financial records stenography and transcription designing forms etc.
Organizing Planning and Prioritizing Work - Developing specific goals and plans for prioritizing organizing and accomplishing individual work and/or the work of the team.
Attention to Detail - Thorough in accomplishing tasks no matter how small they may be and taking care to make sure that expectations are met.

Excellent written / verbal communication and math skills
Prior experience in the construction industry
Prior experience in sales and/or customer service
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Able to coordinate multiple tasks and work under deadline pressure
Accuracy and attention to detail
Physical demands of Walking sitting standing bending.
Some lifting/handling computers and related equipment.
Youll use your hands to operate objects tools computers and other electronic equipment.
Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus.
