We are seeking to expand our team with an enthusiastic Senior Consultant who will work across a range of sectors (Energy Automotive Space & Defense Education Life Sciences Advanced Manufacturing etc.) You will have opportunities to learn from senior team members through counselling relationships mentoring and coaching.

Your key responsibilities

• Identify and analyze clients strategic issues
• Lead and guide junior team members providing direction feedback and support to ensure high-quality project delivery
• Be an active contact for our clients responsible for developing work plans designing and conducting analyses and synthesizing conclusions
• Focus on a variety of client issues such as:
  • Designing organic and inorganic growth and digital transformation strategies for organizations
  • Performing analysis and diligence on acquisition / divestment candidates
  • Assessing attractiveness of potential targets
  • Understanding new markets with their challenges and opportunities
  • Performing market industries and companies dynamics research using a variety of sources (e.g. analyst reports market research reports news articles internal sources)
  • Executing various analyses (e.g. customer segmentation market sizing competitor analysis avenues for growth operating model design macroeconomic / financial forecasting and synergies analysis) to support the strategic recommendations
  • Designing and executing in-depth interview guides with key organizational stakeholders industry experts and customers
  • Analyzing business plans and pro-forma financial and operating models to help identify key assumptions and drivers

Skills and attributes for success

• Outstanding academic performance with BSc or MSc Degree in the field of Economics Business or Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in strategy consulting business consulting private equity investment banking project management transactions corporate finance operations or a quantitative type of research and analytics function
• Ability to make detailed assessments of industry products markets competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities
• Excellent problem-solving orientation project management facilitation and interpersonal skills
• Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines.
• Advanced user level in MS Office tools - Excel PowerPoint Word
• Excellent knowledge of English and Hungarian language in a professional environment
