Job Summary

• This resource is critical to support the increasing business needs to make the material engineering quality data available and accessible to customers for using in new application development cycle and thus enabling market creation for specialty materials to drive GROWTH.
• The SABIC internal project Euclid has set-up a state-of-the-art integrated database for all types of material engineering data. Perform independently the UL testing and generate quality material data. This role needs to test specialty thermoplastic materials and flag the inaccuracies to the respective Project Leaders for corrective action.
• Collaborate with the project leader who is managing the specialty material data program in GApT and deliver excellent support in material testing clean-up coordination with adjacent analytical technology teams data analysis documentation and other data related activities in STC-B to enable the launch of External customer version of Euclid for specialty business.

How You Can Be the Impact

• On-time delivery of data program activities such as UL testing analysis and report out
• Collaboration with Project Leader and deliver excellent support in enhancing the capability in UL -ordination with analytical technology and application technology teams.
• Create KPI Dashboard reports and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders

What Matters to SABIC (Job Requirements)

• Masters degree in material science polymer processing Mechanical technologies or related fields.

• Microsoft Excel Basic & Advanced certification is an added advantage
• 0-2 years relevant hands-on experience in UL testing.
• Processing issue resolution for successful molding trials of new tools.
• Preventive maintenance of equipments in molding shop or Injection mold making tool room experience
• In-depth knowledge of plastic materials testing
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Experience in UL standards
• Polymer materials & analytical testing.
• Fast learner attitude
• Self-driven and proactive with the ability to identify and execute innovative opportunities
