Richmond Behavioral Health is seeking a dependable and qualified Director toprovideleadership and performcomplex and advanced administrative work related to the operations of the RICH clinic OBAT care coordination and peer recovery support position provides administrative and clinical supervision to staff to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Essential Functions
Provides leadership and clinical and administrative supervision of staff; assists with the recruitment and selection of program staff; assigns directs trains and inspects the work of personnel; disciplines coaches counsels and evaluates staff performance; recommends suspensions termination promotion and demotion; develops staff schedules monitors and approves leave prepares and submits timesheets for payroll.
Organizes and directs the delivery of primary care services in the RICH integrated primary/behavioral health clinic; ensures that the delivery of primary care services is coordinated with other RBHA and community-based services providers and related client support systems.
Organizes and directs the delivery of office-based addiction treatment (OBATs) services within the RICH integrated primary/behavioral health clinic; ensures that the delivery of OBAT services is coordinated with other RBHA and community-based services providers and related client support systems.
Oversees the care coordination services within the RICH integrated primary/behavioral health clinic particularly with regard to Virginia hospitals emergency departments serving individuals who are or have recently received services from the RBHA plus specialty care services appointments and transfers and concurrent and collaborative care with other RBHA and community-based services providers and related client support systems.
Organizes and directs the delivery of peer recovery support services within the RICH integrated primary/behavioral health clinic and the development and supervision of the recognition communal supports provided for the divisional peer recovery support specialists; ensures that the delivery of peer recovery support services is coordinated with other RBHA and community-based services providers and related client support systems.
Assesses service utilization and productivity; reviews billing and reimbursement; monitors expenditures and implements financial efficiencies performs unit-wide budget analyses and provides periodic budget reports for COO; provides consultation on difficult cases; conducts site visits as needed.
Monitors staff compliance with contracts grants and Authority policies and procedures; monitors and evaluates program operations processes and activities for quality and regulatory and reimbursement compliance.
Assists with the various licensure and/or certification requirements for the services programs/facilities and/or coordination with the RBHA in-house pharmacy (e.g. DEA certification Board of Pharmacy license).
Assists in the development of revenue-generating activities; develops and monitors program budget and expenditures; makes budget adjustments as required; prepares and reviews invoices and reimbursement requests.
Monitors clinical and medical records practices and the collection of data for compliance with regulatory reimbursement and agency standards; reviews documentation for accuracy.
Prepares and submits reports; monitors and reports outcome measures related to grant-funded projects; maintains contracts and MOAs with community partners as necessary and appropriate.
Serves as a liaison to community partners; establishes and maintains community partnerships; assists with educating the community and service providers on program services.
Consults with other Authority directors managers and supervisors to resolve inefficiencies in workflows and address barriers in services provision; participates in work groups and/or serves as chair on committees regarding service delivery; serves as a consultant to MH division staff regarding SUD treatment services for MH clients with addictive disorders; authorizes SUD treatment services with contracted providers.
Participates in regional and State meetings regarding development and status of programs.
Provides consultations and training as required.
