Job Description
As a CFESA Master Technician with Smart Care youll be more than a service tech youll be a trusted advisor and expert in the field delivering proactive solutions to prevent equipment failure before it happens. Your work directly supports the operations of restaurants hospitals hotels and other commercial kitchens nationwide. What Youll Do
As a certified Master Technician you will:
- Diagnose and repair complex commercial kitchen equipment including hot-side cooking refrigeration ware-washing and beverage systems.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and repair using schematics diagrams and manufacturer resources.
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor to other field technicians sharing expertise and best practices.
- Partner with customers to identify long-term equipment solutions and recommend preventive services.
- Maintain accurate work orders inventory records and service documentation.
- Ensure a safe professional and efficient service environment on every job site.
- Act as a field liaison with manufacturers and Smart Cares Technical Assistance Group for high-level diagnostics and support.

What You Bring
- CFESA Master Technician Certification (required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in commercial foodservice equipment repair HVAC refrigeration or a related trade
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability; ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation and occasional travel
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs and work in a physically demanding fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with pressurized systems electrical components and at various heights or conditions
