MaineGeneral Health is seeking a highly skilled Lead Endoscopy Technician to join our team at the Thayer Center for Health in this role you will lead and support team members within the Endoscopy department serving as both a technical expert and a mentor. You will ensure the highest standards of quality efficiency and teamwork while overseeing equipment performance and workflow coordination.

Job Description:

Position: Lead Endoscopy Technician - CNA

Location: Thayer Center for Health Waterville
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Shift: Days (M-F)

What Youll Do:

  • Provides mentoring monitoring coaching and evaluation of team members performance particularly in areas such as productivity and quality management. Serves as a positive role model for team members byworking with them to promote teamwork and cooperation.
  • Oversees equipment quality control testing maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Assists with coordinating services prioritizing assignments and workflow and promoting situational decision-making/problem-solving.
  • Performs the responsibilities of the underlying job. Takes responsibility for or guides team members on the handling of complex or novel issues.

What You Bring:

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Maine.
  • Advanced knowledge of endoscopy technician responsibilities and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a focus on team development.
  • Excellent problem-solving decision-making and organizational skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain quality standards.
  • Commitment to patient safety quality care and a collaborative team environment.
