Job Summary

Salary/Position Classification

  • 14.00 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10-15 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main greeter at Northern Prairie Community Clinic
    • Answer the main office phone line
    • Take messages
    • Assist clients with appointments
    • Provide accurate and current information regarding NPCC
    • Transfer phone calls to appropriate individuals or offices
  • Complete a variety of administrator-assigned tasks as needed including receiving payments scanning filing faxing placing phone calls retrieving files for student clinicians and communicating with staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Coordinator

Minimum Requirements

  • Office and Customer Service Skills including:
    • Basic Computer Skills
    • Strong Customer Service Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to handle stressful situations effectively
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to uphold the utmost confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Knowledge of NPCC is helpful to inform visitors/callers about available services
  • Must have accepted a Federal Work Study Award for the relevant term
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed relevant term
  • Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check
  • Availability during clinic hours:
    • Monday-Thursday 8:00am-8:00pm and Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of NPCC and services provided
  • Experience working with Medicat
