Job Title: Part-Time Operations & Office Assistant DiaFil Division
Location: Fernley Nevada
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM 12:00 PM (5 hours/day)
Position Type: Long-Term Part-Time
Pay Rate:$21.50 per hour (or based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-orientedOperations & Office Assistant to support both administrative and operational functions for the DiaFil division at our Fernley Plant. This part-time role works closely with the Office Manager and Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth day-to-day activities including order processing recordkeeping and general office support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Office Manager with daily administrative tasks
- Support production customer service and shipping coordination for DiaFil orders
- Help with customer order entry delivery scheduling and shipping documentation
- Organize and maintain records including customer orders MSHA documents service contracts and invoices
- Perform general office duties such as filing scanning data entry and document preparation
- Place and receive purchase orders in SAP (AX) as needed
- Track and organize supplier invoices and payments
- Enter monthly reporting data (production EHS safety)
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners
- Assist with logistics coordination (OTR rail ocean freight)
- Support compliance with MSHA and environmental regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint; SAP experience a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
Work Attire Requirements:
- Steel-toe boots required
- Long pants (no sweats or shorts)
- Short sleeve shirts (no tank tops)
