Shift: Night (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Duration: 13-week assignment
Pay Range: $1000 $1584/week
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Neuro ICU & Intermediate Care Unitfor an exciting job in Atlanta GA.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neurological patients in the Neuro ICU and IMCU.
Monitor assess and manage patients with complex neurological conditions including traumatic brain injuries stroke and post-neurosurgical care.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications treatments and interventions according to established protocols.
Perform neurological assessments and document patient progress accurately.
Respond rapidly to emergency situations including code blues and rapid response activations.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses treatments and care plans with compassion and clarity.
Maintain adherence to infection control safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Keep accurate records in the electronic medical record system.
Participate in ongoing education and professional development in neuro critical care nursing.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in good standing.
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro ICU or IMCU with a neuro specialty focus.
Strong clinical judgment critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
Valid BLS and ACLS certifications; neuro specialty certifications preferred (e.g. CCRN).
