This role involves a mix of sales business development market analysis and relationship management. The role is targeted towards junior business and sales candidates aspiring to work in a a rapid and exciting tech startups or to wards engineers willing to enter the business field.
Tasks
Sales and Lead Generation:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to generate leads and expand the customer base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and clients in the tech industry.
- Reach out to potential clients via cold calling emails networking and social media to generate interest.
- Qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals.
- Conduct presentations and demos of the companys products or services to potential clients.
Business Development:
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing product customer success) to understand customer needs and align business development strategies.
- Assist in building partnerships and strategic alliances with other businesses and organizations.
- Research and identify emerging market trends competitors and customer pain points.
- Work closely with senior managers to develop new business strategies and optimize sales processes.
- Attend industry conferences events and networking opportunities to build relationships and stay informed on industry trends.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new clients providing them with tailored solutions and advice.
- Follow up on client feedback to ensure satisfaction and develop strategies to address any concerns or issues.
- Work with the customer success team to ensure successful onboarding implementation and support for new clients.
Sales Support and Administration:
- Assist in preparing proposals quotes and contracts for potential clients.
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities and opportunities in CRM systems.
- Track sales performance prepare reports and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies and stay competitive.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging and promotional campaigns that attract leads.
- Work closely with senior business development managers to strategize and refine business development approaches.
- Analyze sales data and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making. Assist in preparing presentations business cases and other materials for meetings with clients or stakeholders.
Requirements
Educational Background:
- A Masters degree in Business Administration Marketing Information Technology Finance or Engineering degree in a technology field a related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications in sales business development or technology-related fields (e.g. Space ICT Space CRM tools) can be a plus.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in sales business development or a customer-facing role preferably in the tech industry.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) and sales process management.
- Some experience in managing a sales pipeline prospecting leads and closing deals in tech field
- Understanding of the sales lifecycle and business development strategies.
Experience in satellite technology or electronics or AI or telecommunication business is a plus!
