Senior Data Scientist P&C Insurance Chicago (Hybrid)

We are engaged with one of our premier consulting clients to hire a Senior Data Scientist for their Insurance Analytics & AI practice. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive at the intersection of advanced analytics and client-facing consulting with a strong preference for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define and deliver data-driven solutions
Apply statistical modeling ML/DL and NLP to solve high-impact insurance challenges
Build and optimize data pipelines ETL workflows and BI dashboards
Translate business problems into structured analytical solutions with measurable impact
Deliver executive-ready insights and support transformation programs in a consulting setup

Qualifications

7 12 years of data science and analytics experience
Strong skills in Python/R SQL Tableau/Power BI Spark/Informatica
Hands-on with NLP libraries (NLTK Gensim embeddings like Word2Vec FastText GloVe)
Prior experience in P&C insurance analytics (claims underwriting fraud pricing) preferred
Excellent communication problem-solving and client engagement skills
