Salary: $32.00-$36.00/hour
Travel to assigned communities as needed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel to The Aspenwood Company communities as needed
- Complete all assigned maintenance work orders
- Serve as subject matter expert inHVAC plumbing and electrical systems
- Complete make-ready process for vacant resident rooms
- Coordinate special projects as directed by the Supervisor
- Monitor work performed by outside contractors
- Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled
- Carry pager/cell phone for on-call maintenance
- Monitor and maintain assigned building systems
- Perform grounds work including trash pickup sweeping and landscaping maintenance
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarms)
- Collaborate with staff and professionals during renovations
- Report safety or maintenance issues to Director of Plant Operations Manager on Duty or Executive Director
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Provide guidance to Maintenance Technician I if applicable
- Participate in community emergency response team
- Maintain professional appearance and hygiene
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 23 years of related experience
- Basic knowledge ofHVAC plumbing and electrical systems
- Experience using hand and electric tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Strong communication and interpersonalskills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
