Job Description:

Deploy configure and manage OpenShift clusters including version upgrades patching and scaling.
Deploy scale and manage containerized applications on OpenShift using tools like the oc CLI and OpenShift Console.

CI/CD Integration:

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds testing and deployments often integrating with tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g. Prometheus Grafana) for both Azure/GCP and OpenShift ensuring high availability and system reliability.
Identify diagnose and resolve complex issues related to the OpenShift platform and containerized applications.

Security Implementation:

Implement security best practices user access control (RBAC) and security policies within the OpenShift environment.
Develop and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of GCP resources.
Windows Server administration
Work closely with development operations and security teams to ensure applications are designed for scalability and adhere to best practices.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations processes and runbooks.
Manage the lifecycle of control plane and worker nodes including upgrades and certificate management.
