Were looking for a Global Quality Engineer I to support our New Products & Processes team. This is your opportunity to work cross-functionally with global teams drive continuous improvement and ensure first-time-right performance in materials manufacturing and product quality.
What Youll Do
As a key member of the Global Quality team you will:
- Develop and approve technical specifications for materials intermediates and finished products.
- Act as the Quality Technical Representative on product development teams.
- Lead and support testing inspection and validation of materials and products.
- Conduct statistical analysis and prepare data-driven reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth technology transfer.
- Support risk assessments and mitigation strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement using tools like 5 Whys 8D A3 and Fishbone.
- Audit contract labs and support quality systems compliance.
- Serve as a backup during FDA/regulatory inspections (contract group only).
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Applied Science or a related field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a quality role in any of the following areas: material science quality-related continuous improvement supplier quality product development process validation product design or quality related to contract manufacturers.
- 2-3 years of experience working in a Drug Medical Device or cosmetics environment.
- ASQ CQE certification (or willingness to obtain within the first year).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software (e.g. Minitab).
- Strong analytical organizational and project management skills.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus.
