Leominster Pubic Schools is looking to hire a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work directly under a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR)

Qualifications:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License

Job Description

Assist OTR in the remediation or development of fine motor skills.
Document student progress toward meeting established IEP objectives.
Assist OTR in document student progress
Plan lessons for both face to face and remote platforms.
Perform support duties such as preparing materials keeping records maintaining supplies and scheduling activities.
Prepare charts graphs or other visual displays to communicate students fine motor development.
Understand child development managing challenging behaviors and social emotional learning.
Work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
