Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation in line with established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to monitor daily schedules.
- Expedite operations that may delay schedules and adjust plans to address unforeseen conditions
- Prepare and maintain production planning reports.
- Develop daily schedules based on optimal capacity utilization.
- Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data; perform calculations to determine manufacturing processes tools and resource requirements.
- Create master schedules to establish sequence and lead times for operations to meet shipping dates aligned with sales forecasts or customer orders.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in production or resource planning.
- Strong understanding of production processes and supply chain procedures.
- Solid analytical mathematical and problem-solving skills for data analysis and forecasting.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Proficiency with Windows-based software.
- Quality-conscious and excellence-oriented.
