Software Development Engineer I

The CSG Xponent Engineering team is looking for a Software Development Engineer I whos eager to learn grow and make a meaningful difference while building elegant scalable software that drives real-world impact.

In this role youll be part of a high-performing team thats building a highly scalable high-throughput SaaS platform that powers customer journeys. Youll collaborate with engineers product managers QA and Operations to deliver features that power billions of interactions across the globe.

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer who will:

• Develop high-quality code thats clean secure and performant

• Break down complex problems into stories alongside senior engineers product owners and product managers

• Continuously improve our codebase by adding features fixing bugs and improving scalability

• Participate in all agile ceremonies code reviews and QA cycles

• Troubleshoot issues triage bugs and partner with Operations to resolve incidents

• Contribute ideas to make our engineering processes better faster and more reliable

Is this opportunity right for you We are looking for candidates who:

• Solid programming fundamentals - language agnostic but comfortable with JavaScript ( and Python

• Knowledge of how to write code scalable code with performance optimization and readability in mind

• Familiarity with microservices REST APIs and SQL (raw or via ORMs)

• Strong English communication skills that you can utilize to collaborate across functional groups
