MUFG Banks Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team is looking for highly motivated team players with strong corporate finance skills to support growing M&A activity across both Private Equity sponsor clients and Corporates. The individuals will be based in Hong Kong and will cover the client base for East Asia respectively.

What youll do:

As a Leveraged and Acquisition Finance Analyst or Associate based in Hong Kong you will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of complex financing solutions for private equity sponsor and corporate clients across East Asia. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with experienced professionals on the execution of high-value transactionsranging from initial due diligence through to closingwhile developing your skills in financial modelling credit analysis and legal documentation review. You will be responsible for preparing insightful client presentations that help foster lasting relationships with key stakeholders. By working closely with multiple departments within the organisation you will gain exposure to every aspect of the deal lifecycle while contributing meaningfully to both client outcomes and team objectives. Success in this role requires attention to detail excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine enthusiasm for learning about evolving market trends within leveraged finance.

  • Support the origination structuring and execution of acquisition and event-driven financings across a broad spectrum of transaction structures including private equity acquisitions growth and recapitalisation financings corporate acquisitions and event financing activity.

  • Undertake financial modelling and credit diligence prepare internal materials and assist with managing internal approval and other processes.

  • Prepare client presentations and support client relationship development through deal execution and pitching.

  • Assist with review / negotiate legal documentation incl. commitments papers and credit agreements.

What you bring:

To excel as a Leveraged and Acquisition Finance Analyst or Associate in this esteemed organisation you will bring proven experience from investment banking or related fields where you have honed your technical acumen through hands-on involvement in complex transactions. Your background should reflect not only proficiency in financial modelling but also an ability to interpret credit risks thoughtfully while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Interpersonal strengths are vital; your capacity for clear communication enables you to build trust among colleagues from different departments as well as external clients. A willingness to learn from otherspaired with adaptability when facing new challengeswill set you apart as someone who contributes positively within a supportive team environment.

  • Degree qualified

  • Minimum of 2 years of investment banking corporate finance or financial advisory experience.

  • Skilled in financial modelling credit analysis presentation and documentation.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments.

  • Fluency in both written and verbal in English and Mandarin are preferred.
