AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.

What do we offer: Internship (curricular practicum) program Bachelors Degree Final Project (TFG).

Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.

About practical training:

6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026
Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring

Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:

The appearance and quick development of new technologies is transforming Military Aviation exploring the possibility to endow MilitaryUAVswith new improved capabilities and performancessuch as the challenge of detecting and identifyingboth terrestrial and flying objects improvingcurrent target detection and identification performance providedfor current ones.These new capabilities should exploit the data from new emerging sensors such as LiDAR and Detect and Avoid Radar computer vision artificial intelligence and sensor fusion techniques and algorithms. All these techniques should be suitable to run onboard the platform in an embeddedenvironment.

The proposed work aims to study the state of the art ofsensor fusiontechnologiesand techniques the feasibility of its integration in MilitaryUAVs enabling them for autonomousoperations

As a successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Studying Degree in AerospaceIndustrial Computer Science orTelecommunications Engineering.
English: min. level B2 (C1 desirable)
Spanish: min. level B1
General knowledge in aeronautical surveillance and navigation system.
Matlab/Simulink
Isaac Sim and ROS (would be an extra plus)
Open minded agile pragmatic & active to new challenges
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Team spirit and great collaboration skills
Ability to work in international environment
