Job Summary

**Schedule:**

**Coverage Dates:** Approximately October 1 2025 and ongoing -

**Working Hours:** Outpatient Clinic Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; after-hours on-call duties as part of a shared call pool -

**Call Schedule:** Participation in a shared call pool with support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM

**Details:**

**Practice Setting:** The position encompasses an inpatient consult service outpatient clinic and infusion center with the Cancer Center located adjacent to the hospital. -

**Call Ratio:** 1 in 5 - **Patient Population for Required Coverage:** Adult and Geriatric patients -

**Practice Focus:** The objective for this position is to predominantly engage in hematology activities.

- **Average Patient Volume:** -

**Hospital (Call/Rounding):** 10 to 15 patients per day -

**Outpatient (Clinic/Office):** 15 patients per day -

**Electronic Medical Record System:** Epic

**Clinical Areas:**

**Hematology in Inpatient Settings**

**Required Procedures:**

- Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) / Biopsy

**Required Duties:**

- Participation in a Tumor Board - Ordering diagnostic tests - Requisitioning imaging studies - Prescribing medication

**Qualifications:**

**Board Certification:** Required -

**Active Michigan Medical License:

** Strongly preferred; candidates pending licensure will be considered -

**Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification:** Required
