Job Summary
Boilermaker Blast Furnace 6 Reline Project Port Kembla Steelworks
Are you a Boilermaker who can handle the heat We need you for one of Australias biggest industrial relinesapply now and help us keep the furnace burning!
About the Role:
Be part of the Blast Furnace 6 Reline project at Port Kembla Steelworks. Youll tackle critical welding and fabrication tasks working alongside a skilled team to deliver safe high-quality results on a nationally significant project.
What Youll Do:
- Perform FCAW and MMAW welding in all positions
- Complete pre-employment and site-based welder qualification tests (AS/NZS ISO 9606.1)
- Weld to AS/NZS 1554.1 SP standard with NDT
- Interpret and apply weld procedures and manufacturing drawings
- Mobilise/demobilise work fronts on site
- Meet and exceed visual acceptance criteria for production welding
What Youll Need:
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
- Recent experience as a Boilermaker
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Working at Heights and Confined Space (desirable)
- Ability to pass FCAW & MMAW site weld tests (PF PE positions)
