Horticulture & Field Supervisor - Landscape Construction
Irwindale CA
Pierre Landscape a leader in landscape construction is seeking aHorticulture & Field Supervisorto drive excellence across field operations. The ideal candidate isproactive demonstrates strongfollow-up and follow-through and consistently showsleadership in the field. They conduct job walks own warranty resolution and collaborate closely with Project Managers General Contractors and field crews to uphold company standards and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conductsjob walkswith Project Managers General Contractors and clients to assess site conditions and align on expectations
- Overseeswarranty work ensuring timely response and resolution of issues on closed-out projects
- Supervises and supportsforemen and field crews providing guidance training and performance feedback
- Coordinates thestart and end of maintenance periodsper contract requirements
- Ensuresdaily quality control inspectionsare performed and documented
- Maintains accurate records ofproduction rates(budget vs. actual) and field performance
- Leadstrainings on irrigation systems plant care and equipmentuse
- Communicates regularly withProject Managers GCs and internal departmentsto ensure smooth handoffs and issue resolution
- Tracks and updatesprocess improvementsand SOPs related to field maintenance operations
- Protects company interests through compliance with safety standards company policies and contract specifications
- Represent Pierre Landscape professionally in all field interactions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Provenleadership experiencein a field-based or construction landscape environment
- Bilingualin English and Spanish (required)
- Strongwritten and verbal communicationskills
- Exceptionalattention to detailandorganizational abilities
- Skilled at managingmultiple prioritiesand meeting tightdeadlines
- Stronganalytical and problem-solvingabilities
- Ability tolead changeand drivecontinuous improvement
- Effective inteam-buildingand influencing across departments
- Self-motivatedwith a strong sense ofurgency and accountability
- ValidCalifornia drivers licensewith a clean driving record
Pay is based on having all the right technical and soft skills values and experience in a management role.
$75000-$85000 annual salary based on experience plus bonus.
