ABOUT THIS ROLE...

As an experienced Software Engineer on the Fusion team you will push the boundaries of whats possible in distributed storage systems. Youll architect implement and optimize core services that span on-premises arrays and cloud deploymentsdelivering seamless storage experiences to enterprises around the globe. If you thrive on solving hard problems influencing technical direction and driving innovation end-to-end this is the role for you.

What youll be doing:

• Design and implement scalable secure and highly available services that power Fusions control plane and data services across hybrid deployments.
• Invent and optimize algorithms to orchestrate multi-array and multi-cloud storage systems achieving industry-leading resiliency and performance.
• Collaborate with world-class engineers in Silicon Valley Prague and Bengaluru to deliver features that delight customers and transform how they manage data.
• Drive technical strategy by influencing architecture system design and best practices across teams.
• Solve complex distributed systems challenges with creativity persistence and deep technical insight.
• Own features from concept to production ensuring observability efficiency and operational excellence.
• Mentor engineers champion code quality and foster a culture of innovation and technical rigor.
  
  

WHAT YOULL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• 15 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems software.
• Proficiency in Go Java or C (experience in multiple languages a strong plus).
• Background in one or more of the following: distributed systems networking data protection operating systems container orchestration or cloud-native services.
• Experience with modern DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments (Kubernetes Docker etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills leadership presence and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work in-person in an open office environment.
