Job Summary

ROLE SUMMARY Leads operators and/or groups of operators in assuring that all the duties required in his/her area are appropriately conducted with or without supervision. Dependent upon area of assignment this may include complex chemical reactions fermentations process experiments and equipment trials extractions distillations absorptions crystallizations filtrations drying milling micronizing and packaging operations. Provides training and leadership as well as performing operator duties. Maintains positive team atmosphere and productivity. Maintains Pfizer standards and values for quality safety and environmental objectives as well as meeting production goals.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Functional/Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of basic disciplines. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards. Problem Solving and Innovation: Develop solutions to routine problems following established Pfizer policies and procedures. Discretion Latitude Level of Independence: Works with minimal Supervision. Impact and Organizational Contribution: Contributes to the completion of routine tasks. Teamwork/Influence: Contacts are primarily within immediate work group or within normal process-related workflow. Time Span of Work: Daily tasks and deliverables. Results can usually be measured on daily or weekly basis.

QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma / general education degree (GED) Certificates Licenses or Registrations: Fork-lift certification as required Language Skills: Effective written and oral communication Computer Skills: Microsoft Applications Honeywell DCS SAP Physical Demands: Considerable standing walking climbing of stairs and ladders lifting and moving of containers up to 25 kg Work Environment: Frequent exposure to airborne particles; must work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment may be loud. Use of hearing and eye protection is required. Experience: Requires completion of operator training program and prefer a minimum of four years in API or relevant experience.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Physical Demands: Considerable standing bending reaching twisting kneeling walking climbing of stairs and ladders lifting and moving of containers up to 25 kg. Work Environment: Considerable outside environment. Frequent exposure to airborne particles; hot/cold conditions. Must work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is loud. Use of hearing hand head feet and eye protection is required.

Work Location Assignment:On Premise

The salary for this position ranges from $30.33 to $50.55 per addition this position offers eligibility for overtime weekend holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Companys policies.
