What Youll Be Doing
As a Market Data System Analyst your primary role will be to support the Market Data team through the administration and governance of market data services and third-party relationships. Youll be required to work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate with internal/external partners. You will update and maintain MDSL inventory ensuring information is accurate and current. Tracking and submission of vendor invoices to AP for processing. Reconcile vendor billings; serve as a liaison between company and market data vendors. Respond to internal/external queries in a timely manner.

How Youll Succeed
- Relationship Management Serve as the point of contact for a specific set of vendor business and technology groups. Establish and maintain healthy working relationships with business partners suppliers and peers. Help clients meet their business goals by providing better service and value. Focus on each client experience and make every interaction meaningful.
- Influencing Negotiating and Problem Solving Support the business and technology groups to identify cost reduction opportunities. Comply with CIBCs Business polices and Vendor Governance policies and process. Listen ask questions and put yourself in the clients shoes. Act like an owner by taking accountability for client issues and know when to collaborate with others to build a better solution together.
- Manage Multiple Priorities -Use effective self-management practices to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects groups or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation while keeping abreast of the industry knowledge innovations and advancements in business practices and technologies
- Risk Management - Ensure the appropriate Governance is followed and adhered to for all vendor contracts. Maintain detailed inventory of Market Data and Technology Services for the respective business and technology groups
Who You Are
- You can demonstrate experience with: Strong Excel skills: experience with data management or analytics tools is a plus. Experience with inventory management systems (MDSL TRG FITS) is an with market data and understanding of financial markets would be an asset.
- You have a degree/diploma in in Businessand/or recognized professional designation (e.g. PMAC or equivalent and extensive knowledge of the financial & technology services industry).
