Capgemini AmericaInc. seeks aLead Test Analyst based out of its Chicago IL U.S. headquarters. The employee may also work atvarious unanticipated locations. S/he will perform the following duties: coordinateand manage routine embedded software design projects; negotiate specificationssoftware deliverable schedules and change requirements with customer; act as aSubject Matter Experts understanding the Complex software requirement andresolving any queries/roadblock that might prevent or delay the productdevelopment; reduce the cost of quality and drive higher customer satisfactionby optimizing and implementing the correct testing technique; develop anddefine embedded software test strategies and plans; analyze test results andensure they meet specifications; develop design improvements; review defectreports; perform guide and plan Black box Memory Analysis Regression Testingand Integration testing; review quality related issues and provide initialapproval of recommended improvements; identify and implement process andproduct improvements; oversee assign and review work of junior colleagues; coachand provide guidance feedback and on-the-job training; analyze currentprocesses systems and equipment and recommend and implements improvements; realizationof system design and schematics of software applications with medium to highcomplexity; follow and contribute to Software Development Plan designed by theProgram Manager and update status regularly during team status meetings; workclosely with other vertical teams including Integration and Release teams andhardware design team for deliveries of base/platform software; participate insoftware delivery review discussions Highlight the Risk (if any); and performplanning and delivery for Optical character recognition tool.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a bachelors degree orits foreign equivalent in Computer Science Computer Applications InformationTechnology Information Systems Business Administration Engineering (any) orclosely related field plus at least 2 years of experience in the job offeredas Tester Test Analyst Quality Assurance Analyst Software Engineer SystemsAnalyst or related IT position. In lieu of a bachelors degree theemployer deems that the suitable combination of education training orexperience acceptable is 3 years of study towards U.S. bachelors degree inComputer Science Computer Applications Information Technology InformationSystems Business Administration Engineering (any) or closely related fieldplus 3 years of IT experience. Theapplicant must also have: any period of experienceworking within the automotive or embedded domains; any period of experiencewith all aspects of product testing including test planning documentationuse case creation defect management and reporting; any period of experienceperforming quality assurance manual performance or automated testing; anyperiod of experience working with QA methodologies including functional ornon-functional testing best practices and standards; any period of experienceworking with Test Director HPQC Selenium Load Runner WorkSoft or Cucumber;any period of experience developing and defining embedded software teststrategies and plans including analyzing test results.
