What Youll Do
Provides support to the Metrology Program Compliance group by performing assigned responsibilities as they pertain to:
- Implementation of DOE and ISO-17025 requirements into the Y12 Standards and Calibration Program (SCP) site-level and department-level Command Media.
- Leading and/or supporting management assessments (MA) and organizational surveillances (OS).
- Participate in the development of the annual MA/OS plan based on annual requirements and observed trends of concern from the previous year.
- Development and delivery of training material to customers based on SCP requirements and to ORMC personnel based on performance competency qualifications.
- Risk identification and mitigation. Opportunity identification and development of improvement and/or corrective action plan.
- Qualitative review of submitted non-conformance reports and equipment management requests to ensure adequate completion and analysis of affects to quality are addressed.
- Issue Management tracking Causal Analysis and Extent of Condition participation Corrective Action Plans (CAP) development action completion and Effectiveness Reviews.
- Collaboration with Procurement Quality for establishing initial approval re-approval and oversight of external suppliers providing calibration services.
- Working within electronic database systems to provide updates run reports and collect documentation.
- Work with and administer server access permissions for user accounts and other administrative tasks.
- Development and reporting of metrics as they pertain to compliance adherence and operational performance.
- Activities involved with implementing the requirements associated with maintaining ISO-17025 accreditation.
- Providing guidance to customers relating to adherence of SCP requirements.
- Implementation and maintenance of Y12 Records Management requirements for Quality level records.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree.
- OR eight or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
