Position Overview:
ARKA Group is seeking summer test engineering interns who are passionate about working closely with our team to solve difficult mission-critical this important role you will be working on TestExecour Automated Testing Framework to automate data collection analysis and test procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Design tests for ground and/or space communication systems both individually and within a group environment
- Work with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers network analyzers signal generators etc.
- Conduct automated and manual testing of applications controlling integrated hardware and peripheral equipment while supporting/enhancing existing software products as necessary
- Automate test procedures using python scripting
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to implement tests and validate test results
- Support Test Planning by mapping requirements to Test Procedures for Factory Acceptance Tests
- Use your engineering skills to analyze design and implement automated scripts within complex systems
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a STEM degree
- 1 semester of experience with Object Oriented development
- 0-1 years of experience in a lab environment
- Experience with the Linux Operating System
- Experience with version control tools such as GitLab
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience Python Development
- Experience with the use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers signal generators power supplies and digital multi-meters is a plus
- Experience with python numpy and matplotlib libraries for data analysis
Pay Range: $23.00/hr - $29.00/hr

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to communicate listen to and interpret instructions occasionally operate tools and/or machinery with hands and arms and remain stationary for extended periods of the time. The employee will use protective equipment when working with chemicals move between workstations reach and replace equipment and move items weighing up to 25 lbs. This position requires the incumbent to access export-controlled information.
