Job Description:
Job responsibilities:
Analyze diagnose and resolve incidents and problems in Java applications (back-end and front-end if applicable).
Monitor application performance and availability.
Manage support tickets through tools such as ServiceNow as well as proprietary management tools.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document solutions.
Escalate complex issues to development teams (Level 3) with the necessary information.
Support functional or technical testing during deployments or changes.
Participate in continuous improvement automation or process documentation activities.
Knowledge of generating metrics based on reports and KPIs.
Work as a team to ensure the efficient operation of Device Management.
Use tools and methodologies for continuous improvement.
Technical skills:
Intermediate level knowledge of languages:
.Net (C# C Python)
Java
PHP
MS SharePoint
Power BI
Desirable:
Knowledge of: APIs Web Services (SOAP REST)
Middleware: Experience with servers such as Apache Tomcat JBoss/WildFly WebLogic etc.
Databases: Knowledge of SQL (Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL SQL Server). Ability to execute queries and analyze results.
Design patterns (MVC)
Operating systems: Intermediate level in Windows Linux/Unix (navigation logs basic commands).
Version control: Basic use of Git review of repositories and branches.
Ticketing tools: JIRA ServiceNow Remedy etc.
