An established and growing transport planning consultancy is currently seeking experienced Transport Planners at Senior Principal or Associate level with a specialism in development planning. The consultancy has built a strong reputation over the past several years and continues to expand its diverse portfolio which includes projects across residential retail leisure employment and education sectors. Clients range from major blue-chip firms to smaller specialist developers.
The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and supportive team where transport planners are given real responsibility across a mix of technical management and client-facing tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and delivering inputs to planning applications including Transport Assessments/Statements Travel Plans Delivery & Servicing Plans and Construction Logistics Plans.
- Providing technical advice feasibility input design work data analysis and traffic modelling.
- Mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional growth.
- Developing transport and highway solutions and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Engaging with clients and project teams including architects planners and engineers.
- Supporting business development and contributing to the consultancys overall growth.
Requirements:
- 2 - 5 years of experience in transport planning.
- A degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering Geography or similar.
- Membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. CIHT TPS ICE).
- A full clean UK driving licence.
