Job Summary
Emerson is seeking an Automation & Continuous Improvement Specialist to assist in developing and maintaining automation solutions for Emersons Cluj Business Units.
This position has a strong emphasis on developing workflow and approval solutions using Microsofts Power Platform but also other automation solutions that are used internally. Using Power Platform tools and having the willingness to learn how to implement those technologies with other solutions such as AI/Machine Learning and Robotic Process Automation tools you will partner with business functions to optimally deliver insights.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- To design and develop BI reports dashboards critical metrics and scorecards using SSRS Power BI and PowerApps.
- To build and manage SQL databases and queries to support reporting systems and application interfaces.
- To connect to and transform data from various sources for business intelligence and analysis.
- To provide data analysis expertise and create ad-hoc queries and reports on request.
- To ensure reporting solutions are tested documented and delivered on time following development standards.
- To support business decision-making with ad-hoc reporting data insights and distribution processes (including Oracle in Europe).
- To find opportunities for automation within processes/ workflows and choose appropriate technologies and tools to implement these solutions effectively.
- To continuously monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
- To utilize data analytics to measure the performance of automated processes and improvement projects and make data-driven recommendations
- To be part of a Center of Excellence that offers trainings runs periodic meetings and communicates best practices.

For This Role You Will Need:
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI Power Apps Power Automate) knowledge.
- Solid understanding of DAX formulas SQL querying and Office 365.
- Minimum 2 year of relevant experience.
- Proficient in English.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Ability to recognize patterns and trends in large data sets and use that information to develop dashboard & app strategies.
- Strong analytical continuous improvement critical thinking customer orientation user design and problem-solving skills.
- Programming skills are a plus.
- Good understanding of AI technologies algorithms and frameworks.
