Carlsberg Group Legal & Compliance (GLC) is looking for a motivated curious lawyer to join our Carlsberg Central Office Group Legal team.

Our overall legal and compliance mission is: to support the business to grow and mitigate legal & compliance risk so that Carlsberg accomplishes its commercial objectives under the Carlsberg Group SAIL 27 strategy in an efficient and compliant way.

What youll be doing

Youll be providing legal support to various Group functions particularly focused on the full range of contracting matters and providing advice to the business on both contractual and compliance questions.

Specifically you will be:

• Participating in general legal and compliance tasks for Carlsberg Group functions
• Drafting and negotiating a full suite of contracts (NDAs supply agreements export agreements cooperation agreements etc.)
• Assisting in maintaining reviewing and developing templates & supporting documents
• Facilitating training for the business and legal colleagues
• Supporting the business with compliance issues (together with our subject matter experts)
• Assisting the legal and compliance community to implement a digital mindset (including tools and ways of working)

What were looking for

We expect you to have worked with a broad range of contracts ideally in an international environment and are used to spotting risks and dealing appropriately with them. You take full responsibility for your assigned tasks know when to ask for assistance and are ready to learn and grow in the role.

You may be the person we are looking for if you:

• Are a fully qualified lawyer with 2-3 years of relevant commercial experience from a position in a law firm and/or in-house (ideally with an international aspect)
• Are licenced to practice as a lawyer in a relevant jurisdiction
• Have strong drafting skills coupled with analytical skills to solve legal problems; experience with M&A would be an advantage
• Are keen to build relationships with the business and your team and contribute to developing a positive and supportive work environment
• Have a creative solution-oriented approach and are focused on reaching business goals
• Are a team-oriented professional with a collaborative open mindset willing to innovate and change (an interest in digitalisation would be an advantage)
• Are willing to learn new things with a high degree of self-motivation
• Are keen to work in an evolving environment requiring an ability to prioritise
• Have high ethical standards and a commitment to integrity
• Are fluent in spoken and written English (to contract drafting and negotiation level).
