Job Description:
A vacancy for Product Regulatory Compliance Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe.
The successful applicant will join Engineering Support team.
You will be part of the product development team. Your mission is to ensure the product complies with applicable standards and legal requirements.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
To define the applicable regulations for a specific project.
To request Product Regulatory Compliance evidences analyze and validate them.
To periodically report deviations to trigger decisions
To produce Product Regulatory Compliance Record capturing the equipment compliance status with the applicable regulations
To update the PRC database each time equipment is modified during its life-cycle
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Educated to degree level in Engineering or equivalent.
Accomplishthe technical activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
Verify that the systems requirements are correctly & completely implemented.
Knowledge of Environmental regulations (RoHS F-GAS POPs etc.).
Knowledge of REACH regulation.
Knowledge of CE marking.
Knowledge about the latest ECHA (European Chemical Agency) updates (PFAS chromates reauthorization etc.)
Knowledge in non-EU Environmental Regulations.
Knowledge of aeronautics and airworthiness.
Support Environmental Qualification campaign
Good knowledge working with databases.
English advanced.
