Location: EU-SID CBG Dept and be located at Huawei European Research Centers (Negotiable)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a Wearables Standardization Engineer who are expected to work for EU-SID CBG Standards & Industry Development Europe. This work should cover major CBG wearables related tasks in IEC and other European industry organizations including testing standards development health data interoperability standards development and testing/certification promotion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in meetings of international organizations covering wearable devices health and sports domains such as IEC ISO on behalf of Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG). Contribute to innovation and evolution of CBGs wearables standardizations (such as testing procedures health data interoperability application guide etc.).
- Collaborate closely with CBG European and HQ departments for timely business alignment as well for internal progress reporting and external addition take the responsibility to define strategies work plans and implementations
- Promote innovative applications pilots and implementation with EU partners based on Huawei wearable technologies for CBG business success in Europe.
- Support EU-SID CBG events/summits/workshops relevant to wearables and beyond.
- Support EU-SID CBG project management and internal business coordination.
Competency Requirements:
- Educational Background: major in wearables manufacturing computer science with a masters degree or PhD degree.
- Insights and Analysis: be able to deliver insights reports based on public policies regulations technologies market trends and be excellent at presentation.
- Standardization Experience: have proved experience in participating in standards development in IEC/ISO and understand standards development lifecycle and have the ability to promote standards in IEC/ISO.
- Communication Skills: have strong internal and external communication skills and collaboration abilities and be able to work in a multi-culture environment.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English both spoken and writing while other languages are plus.
